Hi again everyone! It's been too long since my last post, but as you know, life gets in the way and life changes can mess up your routine. I've picked up a part time job for the weekends to make some extra money, and my little sister, who has been my personal photographer since first starting my blog in the beginning of the summer, headed back to school so now I need to get a new system together for snapping pictures for my instagram and gathering content for my blog. So bare with me as I'm figuring out this change in my routine!
In some of my spare time I've made a few Goodwill trips, and a few trips to some other local thrift stores... even some sale rack shopping at the mall. I've got to tell you, I have been hitting the sweater JACKPOT. I am so excited fall weather has finally hit, and sweater weather is my favorite time of the year. There is just something about oversized sweaters, distressed jeans and leggings, and cute booties, that never gets old. Not to mention... it's also pumpkin spice latte season and that's another reason to smile.
I wanted to hop on here and just show you some of my finds! I've shared before some of my biggest thrifting tips, but I will briefly share again my BIGGEST tip when thrifting. *Patience.* That is the key to a successful thrifting trip. Sometimes you'll walk out of thrift store after thrift store empty handed, because you just never know what you're going to find. It's all luck. Lately, I've been having a lot of luck and I'm so excite to share with you these finds!
First, is this adorable fringe knit sweater vest. It is from H&M originally, but I found this at Goodwill for $5.00. I'm really excited to pair this with a pair of high waisted jeans, and my all black mock-neck long sleeve top. Stay tuned on my instagram to see how I style this!
This sweater is another find from that same Goodwill. It was also $5.00 and originally from H&M. It is oversized, and looks adorable with leggings. I'll probably add some knee-high brown riding boots, and maybe my plaid blanket scarf to complete this fall look. Find me wearing this outfit at my local Starbucks with a PSL in hand!
I am literally SO excited about this one. This fuchsia sweater from Forever21 is the cutest. I'm obsessed with the scallop shaped hem, and the sleeve detailing. I recently posted on my instagram about this top, and paired it with my favorite pair of slides I got recently from Target for only $7! I got this sweater at Forever21 during their "50% Clearance" sale, which priced this beauty at only $4.50! Such a steal!
I wish you could feel this sweater in real life, because it is seriously SO SOFT! This sweater is Lauren Conrad (ugh, I love her), and I grabbed this at a thrift store near my house for only $3.99. A LC sweater...for under $4... are you kidding me. I think I'm going to pair this top with some cute jeans, and these adorable metallic silver loafers I got at Forever21 for only $2.50! Again, stay tuned on my insta for this outfit, too!
This sweater is so comfy and adorable. I got this pastel pink sweater off the sale rack at H&M for only $5.00. It's a little big, but thankfully that oversized sweater look is always a good look! This is the perfect sweater if you want to be cozy, but also look like you put a little effort into your look. Such a great find!
Last item for this post.... I know this isn't a sweater, but I just had to share these adorable jeans! I got these at Boscovs for only $9.99, and I think these will look so cute with all of my cheap sweaters I posted above! I'm so excited about these! Not only because they were so affordable and they're so cute, but because they're one/two sizes smaller than what I usually wear! I've been doing the Keto diet (with the occasional cheat, because I'm only human and can only eat so much meat, cheese, and eggs), but I'm definitely seeing the results! Saying goodbye to my freshman 15 from college... finally!
Well, that concludes this post! A little random, but I always love sharing my amazing finds with you guys, and giving a little life update. I'm hoping to get back on a better schedule with my instagram and blog posts. Post-grad life is so weird... Still trying to figure out life and get a routine down that works for me! Let me know if you have any tips or tricks to getting into a daily routine! What is your favorite way to start your day?!
xoxo,
Rachel
